Description of CE Program/Activity
 You have been interested in teaching yoga to your students with visual impairments. You know your students can reach so much more potential, but they need help getting there.In this free 1-hour webinar, you will learn:+What is yoga is and what it is not.+The benefits of yoga for students with visual impairments.+What poses you should include for YOUR students.+How to keep your students safe during your yoga sessions.+How to increase sensory integration, spatial awareness, and motor abilities for your students with visual impairments through simple yoga sequences.What you will leave with:+ A quick yoga sequence that you can immediately bring to your student(w) with visual and/or multiple impairments.+ The strategies to keep your students safe while practicing yoga.+ A full 5 minute yoga routine that you can then build on.+ An understanding of WHAT, HOW, and WHY to teach yoga to kids with visual impairments.+ An understanding how to increase O&M Skills through yoga.Come dressed in appropriate clothing, and ensure you have space if you want to partake in the hands-on section of the class.
