Description of CE Program/Activity
 This course will provide an overview of the mandated reporting requirements as outlined by local county and state laws and VA policies. In addition, an introduction to the role of Advance Directives and their role in a patient s care and end-of-life planning will be discussedLearning Objectives:At the conclusion of this CE activity the participant will be able to: Identify mandated reporting requirements Understand the process for filing a report with Adult Protective Services State the purpose of the Advance Directive as pertaining to a patient s healthcare Identify ways to connect patients with resources related to end-of-life planning
