The 2018 MAER Fall Conference will be held Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at the Mississippi School for the Blind in Jackson, MS. The conference theme for this year is Back to Basics. The conference will include instruction on topics including: An Overview of Blindness and Low Vision; Accessing Printed Materials with Assistive Technology; Braille, Large Print, & Audio: Choosing the Appropriate Medium; Low Vision Accommodations for iPad and Android; Assistive Technology Roundtable Q&A; Orientation and Mobility; and Building Knowledge, Skills, and Professional Network. |
