This afternoon training session aims to inform the Gulf Port BRC staff and instructors on the usage and efficacy of Aira in the lives of Veterans with visual impairments. The presentation will consists of a formal presentation establishing the foundation for understanding the various hard ware and software components, how the service works, and identifies common usage of Aira. a practical hands on portion will promote the understanding of Aira through personal experiences. Final portion of the presentation will enable participants to engage with the instructor on devising various training protocols to be implemented should the BRC elect to train Veterans on Aira. |
