Welcoming Students with Visual Impairment to Your School:Communication and Emerging Language for Students with Combined Vision and Hearing Loss and Multiple Impairments WorkshopThis workshop is for general and special education teachers, related service providers, and paraprofessionals who are or will be providing services to students with visual impairments who may have additional disabilities. Topics will include an overview for teachers and paraprofessionals of the abilities and needs of a student with visual impairment and who may additional disabilities and begin to help them to develop their own accommodations to meet the needs of individual students who attend their school. Additional topics will include orientation and mobility and social skills. |
