Description of CE Program/Activity
 This conference addresses service needs and programming for young children (birth-age 5) with sensory impairments, including deafness/hearing loss; deaf-blindness; blindness and visual impairments; complex needs and traumatic brain injury. The conference focuses on providing current information to increase the skills and knowledge of those living and working with these children. Topics to be discussed include methods of communication; literacy skill development; assessment; brain development; resources for parents and service providers; the role of the family in providing support; current technology and evidence-based practices for teaching children with sensory impairments and traumatic brain injury.
