In this interactive, blended workshop on March 10 and March 31, 2018, participants will examine key issues for the English Language Learner (ELL) population and consider ways to implement new strategies into their practice.We will learn about and reflect upon the stages of language acquisition, growth mindset around reaching culturally and linguistically diverse learners, English Language Development standards, instructional strategies, and connecting with families.This is a Blended Workshop that has an Online Component.This workshop is DESE approved and will meet the SEI/ESL requirements for Teachers of the Visually Impaired.NOTE: One (1) Graduate Credit is optional from Endicott College. |
