Description of CE Program/Activity
 Description: As multiple Veterans are screening positive for TBI each day and complaints of vision-related concerns continue to be documented, the role of Vision Therapy should be explored. This educational program will address current TBI and ABI Vision Therapy services at VA Long Beach Healthcare System. Therapy options and outcomes will be explored through case review and barriers to success will be discussed. Time will be available for questions and discussion. Learning Objectives:At the conclusion of this CE activity the participant will be able to: Review types of visual diagnoses and functional vision deficits from TBI and ABI Increase participant knowledge of TBI and ABI Vision Therapy programs Understand traditional Vision Therapy sequence for common visual dysfunctions Discuss computer based options for Vision Therapy Identify barriers to effective Vision Therapy programs Explore ideas and strategies for improving Vision Therapy for our Veterans
