 The course combines self-studies, homework assignments, and action planning with on-site follow-up mentoring support, and three face-to-face sessions with course instructors. Description of CE Program/Activity
 The team agreesto complete all the requirements of the Hand InHand course. The course requirements are:1. Reading all assigned chapters in the course text: Understanding Deafblindness2. Attending all three onsite sessions at Bartow Administrative Center, Blue Springs School District.1801 NW Vesper, Blue Springs, Missouri 64015 on the following dates: October 17-19, 2017; January23-24, 2018; and April 11-12, 2018. Confirmation letter will be emailed.3. Completing the three course assignments4. Developing and implementing action plans5. Meeting regularly with the Hand In Hand mentor assigned to your team to assist in theimplementation of action plans and the application of the knowledge acquired in this course to thestudent you serve. NOTE: Mentoring format will be flexible to meet the needs of the team such as:observing team members working with student and providing feedback, reviewing with teammembers after school in person and/or by phone the progress in the implementation of actionplan activities, and so on.Please arrange your schedules to be free from interruption while attending the three onsite sessions.
