Description of CE Program/Activity
 This one hour lecture will bring to light the importance of recognizing symptoms of depression and the impact this depression can have to the overall rehabilitation of your patient. It will provide suggestions for incorporating into your low vision evaluation a depression screen scale so as to provide greater confidence when referring to the proper professional(s) that can be part of your rehabilitative team. Finally, it will discuss some of the challenges these patients face that can complicate your vision rehabilitation plan.Learning Objectives1. Characterize the impact vision loss has on your patient.2. Recognize the signs of depression.3. Provide proper intervention.
