Introduction to OrCam This session is designed to provide an introduction to the OrCam portable OCR device. The presenter will describe and demonstrate the basic reading functions of the device and allow time for hands-on practice with reading with OrCam. Attendees will see the basic features, uses, and limitations of the device and discuss basic assessment protocol strategies and criteria for issuance.Accessible iOS TrainingThis session will provide an educational opportunity for VA Blind Rehabilitation staff to receive hands-on training for key objectives when providing accessible iOS training. Participants will review and discuss device configuration and set-up, data back-up and transfer, overview of iOS accessibility tools, and operation of core iOS apps benefitting users with visual impairment.U.S. Army HealthcareThis session will provide an educational opportunity for VA Blind Rehabilitation staff, Optometry Service, and DoD personnel to discuss pressing issues related to vision, traumatic brain injury and ocular disease. |
