Blind Awareness TrainingThe purpose of this training is to share a hand-out that gives tips around working with individuals who are blind or low vision. This hand-out is helpful because it touches on a variety of areas such as organizational skills, clothing, hygiene, eating skills, money management and other basic independent living skills. This hand-out will be coupled with a PowerPoint that has scenarios of how these skills can be taught or addressed with the students who have a visual impairment. |
