Description of CE Program/Activity
 This intensive workshop will examine the leading cause of visual impairment among children, Cortical Visual Impairment, also known as cerebral visual impairment. Instruction will include the necessity for early diagnosis, characteristic behaviors of CVI, diagnostic issues, evaluating functional vision and interventions to improve functional vision.Participants will come away with: The ability to measure the degree of effect of CVI utilizing the CVI Range. Plan interventions Monitor improvement in functional vision Integrate the principals of visual plasticity, the CVI Range Score and essential learning concepts as a method to facilitate improvements in both functional vision and cognition
