Interpretive Technology: Addresses innovative methods of delivering interpretive, informative, and descriptive content to individuals with low or no vision. The session will begin with demonstrations of handheld and fixed-in-place interpretive delivery systems, followed by an overview of new and best practices in audio descriptive interpretation.MoJo Electronic Monocular: Beyond Sight will be teaching best practices and general use of a new electronic visual aid called the MoJo. MoJo is an electronic monocular with varying magnification, brightness, and contrast levels that can be used either alone or in conjunction with a stand to turn the MoJo into a standard CCTC. Emphasis will be on how the MoJo can help in mobility and work related reading and writing activities. |
