VoiceOver is a gesture-based screen reader that is a standard accessibility feature on the iOS platform that allows users the ability to operate the device even with limited or no vision. With VoiceOver enabled, the user can operate the device in every way a sighted person does by hearing a description of everything happening on the screen, from battery level, to who s calling, to opening apps, and beyond. This presentation will give a basic overview on VoiceOver and the features that make it a useful tool for patients with various levels of visual impairment. |
