Description of CE Program/Activity
 This course will discuss the most common congenital ocular conditions causing vision loss in the pediatric population. It will discuss specific issues such as early intervention of optical devices for visual enhancement and the importance of addressing an acuity reserve and the consideration of the accommodative system for academic needs. This lecture will emphasize the importance of providing children with visual impairments with the tools and skills to better enable them to become independent and successful in education and future vocational goals.
