 This webinar addresses the role of the ophthalmologist in a multidisciplinary team approach to working with children with Cortical Visual Impairment (CVI).Dr. Sharon Lehman, of Nemours Childrens Health System discusses the importance of adequate evaluation and the importance of families, educators, and ophthalmologist working together.Participants will:Review a Case history of infant with CVI with example of inadequate evaluation and recommendations.Identify differences in visual evaluation based on a childs Phase on the CVI range.Apply examples of interventions and recommendations based on characteristics of CVI.Identify modalities to assist pediatric ophthalmologists learn more about CVI.
