This program will provide an educational opportunity to receive up-to-date information on the rehabilitation of Veterans with visual impairments. Participants will learn about updates on new technologies (iOS and other hand held technology) and techniques used in blind rehabilitation treatment areas, learn about the various eye diseases that cause blindness and their impact on visual functioning, learn about vision therapy for vision related treatment needs of the mild TBI Veteran and receive an overview of the services provided at the Southwestern Blind Rehabilitation Center. |
