In this hands-on workshop, participants will explore readily available tools and materials to quickly create multi-use assistive technology solutions to support access and communication for people with disabilities at home, school, work and play. Dr. Willkomm will share ideas and steps for fabricating a variety of AT solutions using materials such as Instamorph, double face loop, and PVC. She will differentiate the varied uses of hook/loop products, as participants make and modify tools for accommodating physical, sensory, communication, and learning barriers. |
