This 3-day conference is the annual state-wide training for Georgia vision educators, sponsored by the Georgia Department of Education in partnership with the Georgia Academy for the Blind, the Georgia Sensory Assistance Project, GA-AER, and the Smokey Powell Assistive Technology Center. The title of this year's conference is: CYA- Cover Your Assessments, Accessibility, Accommodations, and Assistive Technology. In addition to concurrent sessions by Ike Presley from the American Foundation for the Blind, Mickey Damelio from Florida State University and Georgia vision educators; Diane Wormsley will provide a full-day training on I-M-ABLE. The conference will include an O&M strand and a 1-day paraprofessional training. |
