Description of CE Program/Activity
 Upon completion of this class, participant will be able to:Identify strategies for teaching social skills to students with visual impairments.Identify types of social skills interventions and strategies to promote friendships.Describe the importance of teaching social skills and the obstacles face by students with visual impairments.Describe the role of the teacher and the family in teaching social skills.Identify why assessment is essential and describe the different types of social skills assessments.Describe the differences in social development for children & adolescents with visual impairments.
