Training will include demonstrations of the latest low vision technology, with particular attention given to devices that can be used in the office to support greater independence and productivity, as well as devices that will support safe travel. Training will be presented by Scott Chaplick of Beyond Sight, Inc. The training will also increase the knowledge of new rules and regulations governing accessible pedestrian signals. This portion of the training will be presented by Steve Hersey, who is the Director of Traffic Operations for the City and County of Denver. |
