Mr. Phillip Schweigert will provide two days of training on the Communication Matrix: A Communication Skill Assessment as the featured speaker. The training content will cover the seven levels of communicative function, how to administer and interpret the findings of the Communication Matrix, and how plan appropriate next-step interventions to support the receptive and expressive communication abilities of children with deaf-blindness and/or with significant support needs. A combination of lecture and video / paper case study analysis will be used over the two day training session. |
