Description of CE Program/Activity
 Presentation Description:This presentation will provide the participant with a definition of dementia and its impact on a person s ability to function. The presentation will include three modules: dementia basics, improving communication, and understanding behavior.Goal:To provide an overview of dementia, challenges of verbal & non-verbal communications, behaviors associated with dementia, and strategies to use with patients.
