The conference was the annual Oklahoma AER state conference. It was held at the Ok. School for the Blind in Muskogee, OK. Mr. Schulenburg and Mr. vanDocto presented continuing education material on "soft skills" The overview is as follows: The definition of success-what traits do we foster and what outcomes do we want for our students, Identification of critical curricula, softskills as a concept not a buzz word, sustained motivation as a curricular concept, Hidden curricula and program design. The instruction lasted 1 1/2 days/7.75 hrs. |
