Instruction in reading is extremely important for all students. This session will address research based strategies used in reading instruction for young visually impaired students. Participants will be introduced to popular methods for addressing reading instruction. In addition, information will be provided on how to make the regular education curriculum accessible for this population. The session will conclude with a Make It and Take It session for materials to be used with young readers who are visually impaired. |
