Description of CE Program/Activity
 This training is a replication of the August 2015 Low Incidence Institute so all Pennsylvania teachers of students with visual impairments receive training on the Unified English Braille (UEB) code that will be implemented in the United States on January 4, 2016. An explanation of the changes between UEB and current code will be provided and discussed. Participants will have daily opportunities for hands-on practice of various UEB examples with discussion to follow. This training will focus on literary materials as well as technical materials. Example documents transcribed in UEB will be reviewed. Participants will also engage in a discussion regarding the Pennsylvania proposed state implementation plan.
