Description of CE Program/Activity
 Dr. Sandra Rosen will lead a two-day presentation, during which she will lecture on her technique for facilitating proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation responses on visually impaired children and then demonstrate those techniques on students at Maryland School for the Blind. Dr. Rosen will also lecture on topics ranging from Sensorimotor Development of Visually Impaired Children to Glare Assessment and Remediation to an interactive computer curriculum that provides step-by-step instructions and demonstrations of how to perform mobility techniques.Sandra Rosen is the coordinator of the O&M program at San Francisco State University. She earned her MA in O&M at San Francisco State University and her Ph.D. in Education and Human Development at Vanderbilt University. With over 35 years of experience in the field of O&M, Dr. Rosen has taught students of all ages who are visually impaired, taught future teachers, conducted research, and has developed instructional materials on numerous O&M related topics.
