Description of CE Program/Activity
This presentation will explore ways in which educators can develop and integrate lite- and lo-tech Augmentative Alternative Communication (AAC) systems for students who are blind/visually impaired with additional disabilities, including deafblindness. Educators will consider both receptive and expressive AAC forms in the context of engaging, early literacy and communication activities across the school day.
