Description of CE Program/Activity
 Do you really understand me? Do you really think I understand you?Students with sensory impairments and multiple disabilities express themselves in meaningful, concrete and purposeful ways and that is the starting point for communication development. We often use the term "pre-symbolic" but what is our attitude toward this early stage of communication and language development? What strategies do we use to help the student transition from pre-symbolic to symbolic communication?
