How to Retrieve Your Digital Badge

Congratulations! Once you have passed your examination and earned your certification, you will receive two emails from ACVREP. The first will confirm that you are now certified and your status has been updated as such by ACVREP. The second will have a copy of your digital badge image as well as a link for the digital badge verification.

  1. Open the email that has the subject "Congratulations! You just earned a "[Badge_Name] Digital Badge!"
  2. Download the attached image.
  3. When you share the link in the email with individuals, they will be able to review your certification status. You will need to add the link as a hyperlink to the image in your email signatures or other locations. To add the hyperlink via a Windows-based computer, focus on the image and hold down the "Control" key and then press the "K" key on your keyboard. The link needs to be pasted as a hyperlink for the image to complete the creation of the digital badge. Each link is unique to you and will have your name and details regarding your certification status. It is also important to add alt text to the image if you add it to your email signature or other locations to describe it. Recommended alt text is "[Badge_Name] Certification Digital Badge for [Your_Name]."
  4. There is another link to the ACVREP page to "Manage Badges." To access this page, you would need to first login to your ACVREP account.
