Orientation and Mobility Specialist (O&M)
The Conklin Center for the Blind is seeking an Orientation and Mobility Specialist to provide individualized training to our clients who are blind or visually impaired with additional disabilities. The O&M instructor will teach clients to travel safely and independently.
Since 1979 the Conklin Center’s mission has been to help adults who are blind or visually impaired with additional disabilities become independent and contributing citizens. On average, 85% of graduates annually become employed, live in homes of their own choosing or continue their education. Our services include: Independent Living, Financial Literacy, Employment, Assistive Technology, and Orientation & Mobility. We are seeking an experienced rehabilitation professional who shares our passion for providing services to our clients.
