We are seeking to employ a bilingual Vision Rehabilitation Specialist. In this role, you will primarily be teaching daily living skills including travel skills (Orientation and Mobility).

You will be delivering services in a variety of settings (home, centre based and community) across Northern New Brunswick; so you must be able to travel regularly.

You will be able to use a range of approaches in your practice; from designing individually tailored programs, to helping design and deliver group training sessions.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has a qualification and background in Occupational Therapy or a degree in a relevant subject
  • Is willing to undertake further training  
  • Is creative and innovative
  • Is able to express themselves in a variety of mediums
  • Can demonstrate knowledge and experience within the general health, disability or rehabilitation sectors
  • Is bilingual – has the ability to deliver services in both French and English
