ACVREP Reinstates For a Limited Time Two Category 2 CATIS Eligiblity Paths

ACVREP Board of Directors Reinstates For a Limited Time Until Closed Two Additional Eligibility Pathways for CATIS Category 2 Applicants

At the launch of the new CATIS certification from May 1, 2016 to April 30, 2017 there was a limited time eligibility pathway for very experienced applicants for the CATIS certification who had an Associates or 2 or 3 year post-secondary degree or diploma and for those who had a high school diploma.  During the first year of launch, many experienced ATBVI instructors were not yet aware of this new certification and, therefore, were not able to apply during this period.

At the recommendation of the CATIS Subject Matter Expert Committee, the ACVREP Board of Directors approved reinstating these categories for applicants for a limited time until closed by the Board to allow very experienced ATBVI instructors to apply for certification.  As with all applicants in Category 2, they must meet the Core Domain Checklist requirements and must complete a CATIS supervised internship.
